Castor Oil Packs

Castor oil packs are used to speed up the healing process. They increase circulation, reduce pain, help with detoxification, reduce inflammation and stagnation and increase the range of motion.

Castor oil packs should be used at the beginning of menstruation when the first symptoms and the pain become noticeable. These packs can reduce the pain and symptoms throughout the whole cycle.

Here is how to use Castor oil packs:

  1. Soak a washcloth in pure, cold-pressed castor oil. You can buy this oil in almost every health food store
  2. Place the cloth on bare skin on the lower stomach
  3. Put a grocery bag or any other piece of plastic on top of the cloth
  4. Place a bottle filled with hot water on top of that. The water should be as hot as possible, as long as it doesn’t bring you discomfort
  5. Leave this on for at least 30 minutes.

Lemon Water and Chamomile Tea

Drinking lemon water can help with many Endo side effects such as allergy symptoms, nausea, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea and so on. It can help reduce inflammation and lemon water is highly effective at cleansing the liver. Many women in our Endometriosis Group say lemon water helped them with the symptoms and helped them get some relief.

Chamomile relieves inflammation and stress and both of which help in endo pain relief. Making chamomile tea is really easy, just mix a teaspoon of dried chamomile into a cup of boiling water. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
